dp minSreya Mariyam Salim did her MBBS from Government Medical College, Kozhikode, and is pursuing MD in Psychiatry from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. She has received prizes at school and district levels for elocution, essay writing, drama and monoact. She was the first rank holder in national level Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) entrance exam in 2013. She spearheaded campaigns like Haiku and Aham, which received national and international media attention. Haiku targeted spreading awareness about menstruation, and Aham was a campaign by medical students for LGBTQ+ rights. The magazine 'Thudal' (Calicut Medical College Magazine- 2016) edited by her had second prize in state level competition for college magazines conducted by Malayala Manorama. It was also the first runner up in Basheer award for best college magazines. She had second prize in national level book review competition conducted among post graduate students by Indian Psychiatric Society in 2021. She is also the recipient of Palakkad guild PG paper award and Dr. DS Raju Memorial award for best research paper by a post graduate student in Kerala and South India respectively.
